I watched this video today - it's about 45 minutes long or so. (don't watch it if you want something quick!)
It tells the story of some very gifted people called savants who have almost paranormal learning abilities. Most of the story is focused on this kid Daniel and his ability to do crazy huge math problems in his head (what's 37x6? ...recite the number pi to the 22,000th digit?) and the way he does it.
The video also showcases some other savants including an incredible artist, a man who can list off the day of the week and the weather of any date since his injury, and the very same guy who Rainman was based off of, who is the world's best memory man (reads a page of a book every 8 seconds and retains 98% of it).

I stumbled across a video today which was actually a very cool and sad idea for a video. I think it was done well. Starts off weird, but you get the point later on. Wish it was longer.
I was the first one into my history class, besides my teacher who was standing in front of the television in the front of the classroom. As people filed in, everyone was quiet as we watched the news. I was in the front of the class. Most of us in there saw the second one happen live on national news. We piled into buses to go home that morning, and everyone was afraid. I went to Meghan's house, and we - as well as the rest of America - watched the news for a hundred hours straight.
Where were you?
